Roof slab and beam rod binding and casting work are ongoing at the site. The reinforcement has been placed as per structural requirements, and concrete casting activities are being executed under regular supervision.
READY MIX CONCRETE WORK
Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) offers superior quality, consistency, and durability compared to site-mixed concrete. It is produced under controlled conditions, ensuring accurate mix proportions and better strength. RMC reduces material wastage, saves construction time, minimizes labor requirements, and improves site cleanliness. It also enhances construction efficiency by enabling faster pouring and better quality control, resulting in a stronger and more durable structure.
ROOF CASTING
On 11 August 2026, the roof slab casting work of the THE ICON project was successfully completed using M25 grade Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC).
A total quantity of approximately 28 cubic metres of M25 grade concrete was used for the roof slab casting. Prior to casting, the complete plywood shuttering, reinforcement arrangement, alignment, level and jack-prop support system were properly prepared and checked.
The concrete was placed systematically throughout the roof slab area, ensuring proper distribution, compaction and finishing. Necessary care was taken during the casting process to maintain the required structural quality and workmanship.
After completion of the casting, necessary curing and post-casting activities were commenced to support proper strength development of the concrete.
